This role was originally a customer service and sales position. As well as serving customers and operating an electronic cash terminal, this role involved receiving, stacking and ticketing stock. Efficiency and quick learning in this role led to a promotion to Second-in-Charge.

K-Mart Burwood

September 2000 – December 2002, Merchandiser

As an enthusiastic member of the merchandise team, this role involved designing and building displays as well as price and security tagging. Although customer service was not officially part of this role, I made sure to answer all customers’ questions correctly.

MINTRAC Ltd.

May 1999- September 2002, Office Assistant

This role developed a range of skills such as Microsoft Office proficiency, rapid data entry, and effective graphic design. I was quickly trusted to fully coordinate the distribution of training materials for the entire meat industry.

Skill and Preference
I am passionate about teaching business to young people. I have run three major conferences which have taught hundreds of young people how to start a business. I really want to learn Mandarin and have visited China before. Ideally I would like to teach in Shanghai or Beijing at a university but would also be happy working in a high school. I would like to leave as soon as possible.
