Introduction of
City Institute , Dalian University of Technology
City Institute, Dalian University of Technology was founded in
March, 2003. It is a newly-typed independent institute approved by
The National Ministry of Education, practicing a new type of
management and operating system. It is a national institute with its
own legal person, personnel, finance and education courses.
The Institute is situated in Dalian, a beautiful coastal city. It
locates at the modern and vigorous Dalian Economy and Technology
Development Zone, at the foot of the scenic spot The Great Black
Mountain, with fresh air and convenient transportation. Its entire
area is 900 Mu with the building area of 200,000 square meters. It
owns all kinds of modern basic equipments such as modern library,
multi-media classrooms, large network classrooms, language labs,
various labs, lightening sports ground and standard plastic cement
playground, stadiums and so on.
Supported by the rich teaching foundation as well as the teaching
resources and standard teaching management of Dalian University of
Technology, the Institute aims at training advanced applied and
compound specialized talents to meet the demand of modern socialist
construction.
The education level of our Institute belongs to the undergraduate
course of higher education listed below the provincial enrollment
plan, the third time enrollment of the provincial undergraduate
course. After the first enrollment in 2003, the enrollment plan of
2004 is 2000 students. The period of schooling lasts 4 years. There
are over five departments such as electronic and computer
engineering, management, English, Japanese and architectural art
which majored in electronic computer science and technology,
software engineering, network engineering, electronic information
engineering, industry and commerce management, information
management and system, public administration, real estate and
housing management, English, Japanese, Automation, software
(Japanese-intensified), engineering, Logistics management and
architecture. The undergraduates will be issued the Graduation
Certificate of City Institute of Dalian University of Technology.
The qualified will be awarded the Bachelor Degree of Dalian
University of Technology.

Monthly salary(RMB):3500RMB~4000RMB per month(according to the
educational background;working experience and teaching ability)
Courses to teach:conversational English,oral English,
reading,writing.
Air fare(RMB):We offer an economic class international round-way air
ticket between Dalian/Beijing nearest to the candidate s permanent
residence in his/her country that he/she successfully full academic
years service with the university.
Traverl allowance(RMB):We will supply an amount RMB 2,200 each
academic year (nearly 10 months) as travel allowance for leaving.
Monthly telephone allowance(RMB):Local call is free within
100RMB(available for living in the international dormitory of City
Institute of DUT).
Teaching office:only available for foreign teachers.
Meals: cooking utensils provided.
Board: furnished apartment ,a bedroom, a living-room,
bathroom,kitchen,telephone,color TV set,fridge,microwave,vashing
machine, heater,air-conditioner.Teachers are often housed in our
international dormitory building on campus.If foreign teachers rent
a flat by themselves ,1000RMB for transfer and rent.
